We are seeking a Senior Account Manager to drive client relationships and strategic growth for a next-generation, deep-tech IT product. This role requires a professional with strong technical acumen and proven experience managing accounts in the software or AI industry—particularly in complex solutions involving technologies such as large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or other advanced AI systems.

The ideal candidate excels at building trust with technical stakeholders, understanding client needs, and translating highly sophisticated technical capabilities into actionable business value. Experience managing enterprise accounts across functions - end users, IT, and management - is essential, along with a track record of driving account expansion and client success within innovation-driven environments.

As Iris.ai is a Growth stage startup, you will be coming into this role as the first one on the ground; you build the strategy and process from the ground up, while also doing the footwork yourself initially. The role will require a lot of learning from current clients to build out a strong, full Account management function. You will have the support of our Senior Account Executives, Senior Technical Marketing Specialists and our CRO, but beyond a great supporting team we expect you to work autonomously in the establishment and execution of the Account Management function.




Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strong understanding of customers’ business models and needs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for global clients, addressing their needs and concerns proactively.
  • Understand strategic direction of assigned named accounts and develop sales strategy to meet long-term account needs.
  • Work directly with end users of the solutions to ensure smooth user adoption.
  • Manage, upsell and grow account portfolios, ensuring sustained business success and scale revenues.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Enterprise clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet customer requirements effectively and ensure a great customer experience.
  • Monitor market trends and competitors to identify growth opportunities.
  • Present solutions to potential clients in a compelling and professional manner.
  • Work closely with the Marketing and Product teams acting as the voice of the customer.
  • Participate in the retention & renewal process.
  • Provide regular reports on account performance, client feedback, and market insights.




Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in key account management, sales, or business development, in the digital/web/software solutions sector.
  • Fluent business level English skills.
  • Understanding of AI, ML, LLMs and RAG concepts.
  • Knowledge and experience in using AI Tools.
  • Strong track record in managing global clients and driving revenue growth.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, managing multiple accounts effectively.
