At Iris.ai, we’re building an agentic AI platform that scales expert-level domain knowledge across entire organizations.
For more than a decade, we’ve worked at the intersection of scientific research, industrial data, and applied AI, helping researchers, engineers, and business teams reason over complex technical knowledge.
Our products - Neuralith, Axion, and RSpace - span the full GenAI lifecycle:
Data ingestion across text, tables, figures, and technical formats
Advanced RAG and indexing pipelines
Agentic orchestration and reasoning
Rigorous LLM evaluation and governance
What makes us different: we care deeply about accuracy, evaluation, and responsibility. We don’t optimize for demos and proof-of-concepts we optimize for systems that experts trust and use.
We’re looking for a high-performing Senior AI Sales & Business Development Executive to help execute Iris.ai’s global go-to-market strategy. This is a strategic hunter role ideal for someone passionate about navigating complex sales cycles — from initial outreach through to successful implementation.
You’ll collaborate closely with Iris.ai’s leadership, marketing, and product teams to identify and engage high-potential enterprise clients across AI, data, and R&D domains. Your focus will be on managing and nurturing opportunities, building strong relationships, and closing 6–7 figure deals across multiple regions and industries.
You will play a key role in guiding prospects through the entire customer journey, working alongside pre-sales engineering to ensure seamless solution delivery — from early qualification to deployment.
Your mission?
Support Iris.ai’s next phase of global growth by unlocking strategic accounts, accelerating enterprise adoption, and helping transition our sales motion from founder-led to scalable, repeatable processes.
Full sales cycle ownership – From qualified lead to contract signing to post-sale success
Strategic prospecting - Engage with senior AI leadership and/or C-suite at target organizations through a consultative approach, understanding their strategic priorities and identifying high-value AI use cases
Relationship building – Develop long-term trust with key stakeholders across Engineering, Product, innovation, and business teams.
Revenue leadership – Hit and exceed quarterly/annual targets for the region. Drive new logo acquisition and account expansions.
Go-to-market execution – Shape sales playbooks, campaign priorities, partnership model with support demand-gen and marketing teams.
Sales Engagement - Lead complex proposal development, solution presentations, and commercial negotiations in collaboration with the pre-sales engineering team.
Sales ops excellence – Maintain CRM hygiene, monitor pipeline health, and leverage data to optimize conversions.
Market intelligence – Feed insights back to marketing and product to sharpen ICP definition and value messaging
Proven track record in enterprise SaaS sales: ideally within AI, data platforms, engineering tools, or technical deep-tech products.
You’re a hunter at heart—driven by new business, with a relentless, strategic approach to closing, while understanding various farming techniques.
You know how to build trust with technical buyers and communicate complex value propositions simply and persuasively.
Familiarity with AI (100–200 level) is ideal, bonus points if you’ve sold to data science, machine learning, cloud, data or platform engineering teams.
Comfortable working across fast-moving scaleups—you embrace ambiguity, move with urgency, and thrive in cross-functional environments.
Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools, as well as thorough understanding of metrics and data.
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, capable of explaining complex information in a clear and concise manner.
Ability to work highly independent and as part of a distributed team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, agile, start-up environment.
